MAPS

Each BEN-BEN pyramid has a map that reveals its interior structure. The maps are are designed to be doorways into the pyramids, both physically and energetically, and demonstrate not only the crystals and other elements that are inside, but also some of the energy and intention that goes into each piece. The maps are not intended to express all aspects of a BEN-BEN pyramid. That would be impossible. Each person will have a unique experience of a pyramid's physical and energetic properties, and that experience will evolve over time. The map is meant to be a starting point. Beautiful works of art in their own right, the BEN-BEN maps are full of ancient symbolism and hidden messages designed to uplift and inspire.

All elements are original images painted by hand, using watercolor paint.

Below are a selection of BEN-BEN maps.

Solomon's Temple

Much of the imagery and symbolism for the map was informed by the Biblical passages that describe the building of Solomon's Temple. For instance, the two pillars in the back represent Boaz and Jachin, the two Pilars that flanked the entrance to Solomon’s Temple.

The symbol at the center is a “231 Gates” symbol, which contains all 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Alef is the first letter of the alphabet, and so is at the very top of the circle, aligned with the apex of the pyramid. There are 22 points, one point for each letter, and 231 lines that connect all 22. According to Kabbalah, Divine Creative Energy is configured in the shapes of the Hebrew alphabet, and when these letters are combined they can create physical form. “First there was the Word, and the Word was God.” Each of these 22 letters and their 231 connections or “Gates” is a gateway to Creation.

This symbol and every one of its lines was painted by hand.

This map was created for a 24k gold-leafed Giza pyramid. Both the map and the pyramid are in a private collection.

Moon Magic

The Moon Magic pyramid and map take inspiration from Dion Fortune's novel, "Moon Magic." We created an original tarot card for this map, the Moon, which is the 18th card of the major arcana.

This map was created for a limited series of 6 pyramids, all Giza style and covered with 18k Moon Gold Leaf. Four of the six remaining are available for purchase.

777

The map for 777 includes imagery and symbols that relate to the numerological powers of a triple 7. We created 5 original tarot card images for this map.  The first two, The Hierophant and the High Priestess, are the 5th and 2nd cards of the major arcana:  5 + 2 = 7.

The second pair, the Emperor and the Empress, are the 4th and 3rd cards of the major arcana. 4 + 3 = 7.

The last card is the Chariot, which is the 7th card of the major arcana. These images together create a triple 7.

The map was created for a tetrahedron pyramid that was cast on July 7, 2023.

July =7            Day = 7         Year = 2 + 0 + 2 + 3 = 7

The 777 pyramid is covered in crushed lapis, 24k gold leaf and has a gold-plated torus symbol on the front.
